Sarbjit Cheema
Sarbjit Cheema is a well-known Indian-Canadian Punjabi singer and actor, celebrated for his energetic performances and contributions to Bhangra and folk music. Born in Jalandhar, Punjab, he moved to Canada in 1989, where he began his professional music career. His debut album Yaar Nachde (1993) became an instant hit and laid the foundation for his musical journey. Known for blending traditional rhythms with catchy modern beats, he quickly became a household name.
One of his most iconic songs, Chandigarh Shehar Di Kudi, remains a fan favorite to this day. Sarbjit’s discography includes albums like Rangla Punjab, Sone Di Chirhi, and Nacho-Nacho, with collaborations from acclaimed music directors such as Atul Sharma and Sukhpal Sukh. His music stands out for its upbeat tempo, catchy hooks, and deep cultural connection, making him a staple in the Punjabi music scene.
Cheema has also proven his versatility by acting in Punjabi films such as Pind Di Kurhi, Apni Boli Apna Des, and Punjab Bolda. Whether on stage or on screen, his passion for Punjabi culture shines through. With decades of experience and a vibrant personality, Sarbjit Cheema continues to be a leading voice in promoting Punjabi heritage around the globe.

Rupinder Handa
Rupinder Handa is a talented Punjabi playback singer and performer who first captured the public’s attention by winning the inaugural season of the singing reality show Awaaz Punjab Di in 2005–06. With a soulful voice and deep-rooted love for Punjabi music, she quickly made her way into the hearts of fans across India and abroad. Her debut album Mere Haniyan was a critical and commercial success.
Since then, Rupinder has released popular tracks like Ghaint Sardar, Pind De Gerhe, and Parwah Ni Karidi, blending tradition with modern sounds. Her albums Fulkarian and Loving Waves are noted for their emotional depth and cultural richness. Handa’s music not only entertains but also carries a strong message of empowerment, love, and resilience.
In recognition of her contributions, she was honored as the Folk Singer of Haryana in 2017 by the Chief Minister. Besides music, Rupinder is deeply involved in social initiatives focused on women’s rights and child education. Her global tours in countries like the USA, Canada, and the UK have made her a proud ambassador of Punjabi culture.

Harjit Harman
Harjit Harman is a celebrated Punjabi singer known for his melodious voice and soulful lyrics. He began his professional journey with the album Kudi Chiran Ton Vichhari in 1999 and gained massive recognition with his 2002 release Zanjeeri. Songs like Mitran Da Naa Chalda from his album Panjebaan became iconic anthems among Punjabi music lovers.
Harman’s music is deeply rooted in Punjabi folk traditions but carries a modern appeal that resonates across generations. His album Shaan-E-Quam (Pride of the Nation), released in 2011, was nominated for the Best Folk Album at the Global Indian Music Awards, cementing his status as a respected figure in the industry. His lyrics often highlight Punjabi values, relationships, and pride in heritage.
In addition to music, Harjit has explored acting, with appearances in Punjabi films like Raula Pai Gaya, Desi Romeos, and Tera Mera Ki Rishta. His live performances are known for their emotional depth and strong audience connection. Whether in India or on international stages, Harjit Harman continues to inspire with his authentic style and commitment to Punjabi music.
